The charges stem from an investigation that found that McCauley groomed and coerced the victim into sexual encounters with two adult men in October 2024, authorities said.

Authorities said at least one of the encounters was video recorded via Snapchat.

McCauley allegedly arranged these encounters by communicating with multiple men through an online dating site.

The two other defendants are Jon Thomas Van Ingen, 67, of Buckingham Township, and Randy Francis Quinn, 42, of Coopersburg. Both are awaiting trial on their respective charges.

Van Ingen was charged with statutory sexual assault, while Quinn was charged with two counts of statutory sexual assault, photographing or filming a child sex act, and dissemination of photos or film of child sex acts.

The investigation began in February 2025 after the 13-year-old victim communicated with an individual on Snapchat who identified himself as "Jake," later identified as McCauley. McCauley allegedly solicited sexually explicit photos and videos from the victim and later coerced her into creating a fake online dating profile to arrange sexual encounters with men, authorities said.
