Record-Breaking Food Drive In Warminster: 3,188 Pounds Donated
Saturday's Stuff The Cruiser initiative broke the Warminster Food Bank's record for single-day donations.
WARMINSTER, PA — When the Warminster Food Bank asked residents to fill a police cruiser with food in just three hours Saturday, the town more than rose to the challenge.
State Senator Maria Collett shared on social media that, with a whopping 3,188 pounds of food donated, the Stuff the Cruiser event had claimed the food bank's record for the largest single-day donation.
"Huge thanks to the Warminster Township Police Department and ShopRite of Warminster for partnering with the food bank to make this event possible," she wrote Tuesday.

The food bank held the event outside Shop Rite from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Saturday. All proceeds go to stocking their pantry, which provides residents with a market basket worth over $200 and requires no income verification or ID.
"Thank you for your support," the food bank wrote online. "We couldn't do this without you."
