Santa Claus Fire Truck Tour This Weekend In Warminster
Saint Nick will hit Warminster Township's neighborhoods for the Dec. 16-17 weekend.

WARMINSTER, PA —The township's two fire companies are ready to take Santa Claus into the neighborhoods.
The Warminster Fire Department will showcase Santa on Sunday, Dec. 17, starting at 10 a.m.
The fire department will run four groups of Santa escorts with four Santas throughout the day.

The area in the center of town has two Santas, and the East and West Ends will each have one, fire officials said.
Officials said that the groups do not follow a map or schedule and that their timing might be impacted by calls throughout the day.

"The best way is to listen for the sound of approaching sirens and horns which will signify when we've reached your neighborhood," the Warminster Fire Department said.
Meanwhile, the Hartsville Fire Company will have Santa aboard its fire truck on Saturday, Dec. 16, and Sunday, Dec. 17.
Residents are asked when they hear the sirens and see the emergency lights to check out Saint Nick.
"While we understand that this is an exciting time, we ask that you to do your best in keeping children and pets from running into the street while Santa is coming through," the fire company said. "We encourage anyone who lives in cul-de-sacs or small private roads to please come out to the end of the street as it becomes harder for all the fire trucks to access these smaller areas."
While the fire company and Santa will do their best to hit every street in a timely fashion, the fire company will remain in service throughout the event and will respond to calls as they come in.
The fire company will also once again be instituting a “sensory” stop to the proposed agenda.
This stop will be located at the firehouse and was created with the intent to help those who would still like to meet with Santa but need a smaller, and quieter atmosphere.
"On behalf of the officers and the members of the Hartsville Fire Company we would like to extend our utmost appreciation for all your support, and we would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Stay safe and healthy," the fire company said.
