St. Pat's DUI Checkpoint Planned In Bucks Co.
The checkpoint will run from 10 p.m. Saturday to 3 a.m. Sunday, according to law enforcement officials.
WARRINGTON, PA — St. Patrick's Day celebrations may be muted somewhat this year due to precautions being taken for the new coronavirus. But Bucks County law enforcement will still be on the road with beefed-up DUI patrols.
The Bucks County DUI Task Force's annual St. Patrick's Day checkpoint is scheduled for this Saturday in Warrington Township.
In all, 18 officers from eight departments will be running the checkpoint on Rt. 611. It will run from 10 p.m. Saturday through 3 a.m. on Sunday.

Authorities say that drivers passing through the checkpoint may be given field sobriety tests if they appear to be under the influence.
"As we are all becoming keenly aware in this current climate, public safety must take many forms," said Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub. "Help us keep you safe. Please don’t drink or do drugs and drive."

St. Patrick's Day is Tuesday, March 17. In Bucks County, the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in Falls and Bristol townships has been canceled due to concerns about the spread of the coronavirus.
