Student Threatens School, Handgun At Wawa Parking Lot: Warminster Crimes

The Warminster Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for May.

WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — The Warminster Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for May, including a student who made terroristic threats at a school.

These are the criminal incidents:

  • A police officer was dispatched to Davisville Road for a report of a driver sleeping at a red light. When the officer arrived, the vehicle had relocated to the Wawa parking lot. The car was located, and the officer tried to wake up the driver. The driver had trouble opening the door and lowering the window. The officer noticed a handgun on the passenger seat and told the driver numerous times not to reach for it. After getting the driver out of the vehicle and searching for other weapons, the driver was given a field sobriety test, which he failed. The 36-year-old man consented to a blood draw. Pending blood alcohol results and drug testing results, the male will be charged with Driving Under the Influence and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
  • Police officers responded to York and County Line roads for a report of a road rage incident that resulted in an accident. One driver stated that another driver threw something at his car and then ran into his vehicle intentionally. The 24-year-old man was cited for Disorderly Conduct.
  • Police officers were dispatched to Evergreen Avenue for a report of a domestic in progress. The victim had minor injuries and refused treatment. The 33-year-old woman entered the house and attempted to remove her daughters, and an altercation ensued. The woman was arrested and charged with Simple Assault and was arraigned. The bail was set at $20,000 unsecured.
  • Police officers were dispatched to Caliber Collision for a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle on their lot. The rear driver's side window and a door handle were broken. Officers were able to lift a fingerprint, and blood was analyzed for DNA. A 17-year-old male juvenile was arrested and charged with Theft from a Motor Vehicle.
  • Police were dispatched to Jacksonville Road for a report of a man on the front porch of a residence, and he was refusing to leave. The man advised that he was at a friend's house. The 50-year-old man was visibly intoxicated. Officers provided him with a courtesy ride home and cited him for Public Drunkenness.
  • Officers were dispatched to Brooke Lane for a report of a Domestic Assault in progress. A 32-year-old woman had assaulted her mother. The mother was transported to the hospital for treatment of her injuries. The woman was transported back to Headquarters for processing. The woman was arraigned, and bail was set at 10 percent of $150,000. The female was unable to post bail and was transported to Bucks County Prison.
  • Officers were dispatched to Veterans Way and Johnsville Boulevard for a report of an unknown medical issue. A man jogging nearby noticed a man fall out of a vehicle. When he went to check on the man, he helped him up on the curb to wait for the Police. The 62-year-old man smelled like alcohol and stated he was unable to perform the field sobriety test due to a bad knee. The man was transported back to Headquarters to be processed. Pending Blood Alcohol results, the man will be charged with Driving Under the Influence -General Impairment.
  • Officers were dispatched to McDonald Elementary School to speak with the School Police Officer for a report of a 12-year-old boy making threats. The student mentioned to another student that he had a gun and was going to bring it to school. The student was interviewed and taken into custody. The boy was transported to Bucks County Juvenile Detention and will be charged with Terroristic Threats and Harassment.
