Threat To Klinger Middle School Is Unfounded: Cops

The incident was reported to the Safe-To-Say program. Police began working with school officials immediately afterwards.

SOUTHAMPTON, PA — The Upper Southampton Police Department has announced that a threat made to Klinger Middle School is unfounded.

The threat was reported to the Safe-To-Say violence prevention program in the early hours of Friday, Dec. 17. The police department immediately began working with staff at Klinger and the Centennial School District in order to investigate the threat properly.

"The report was discovered to be unfounded and there is no threat to Klinger or its students and staff," the police department said on their CrimeWatch website.

The Centennial School District said they will be sending out an email to families in order to provide them with more details on the incident.

This threat comes after two weeks of similar threats from other Bucks County school districts, which have caused school closures and increased police presence on school grounds.
