Trick or Treat at Majestic Oaks, Halloween Parade at Library This Week
Check out what's happening this week in Warminster.
- Majestic Oaks Nursing Home, 333 Newtown Rd., invites children to its third annual trick or treating night on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. There will also be refreshments and a costume contest.
- The Warminster Library is hosting a Halloween parade for pre-schoolers and toddlers on Oct. 29 at 11 a.m. Meet in the children's area to decorate the trick-or-treat bags, then march through the library to collect goodies from staffmembers.
- Centennial School District's Education Committee meets Monday at 7 p.m. at the administration building on Centennial Road. The agenda includes a review of the PSSA scores from 2012-2013 school year.
- It's going to stay mostly sunny and relatively warm this week, with temperatures in the high 50s to mid-60s. There's a slight chance of showers on Halloween, with the weather cooling down to 53 degrees once the sun sets, according to the National Weather Service.
