WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — Disabled military veterans are getting a new trash discount.

The Warminster Township Board of Supervisors has now extended the $55 trash fee senior citizen discount to all eligible disabled veterans.

Supervisors said the extension is in recognition of the "unique and special place disabled veterans occupy in our community."

Disabled veterans are eligible for the residential property tax exemption under PA Title 43, Chapter 5.

A resolution was approved by supervisors at its June 19 meeting.

Anyone who has already paid the full 2025 trash fee will receive a $55 payment from the Warminster Tax Collector.

"On behalf of the entire community, please accept our deep gratitude for the sacrifices you have made for our nation," Supervisors Chairman Kenneth Hayes said.
