Warminster Day Celebration Postponed by Township
The family friendly event was scheduled for Sept. 7 to help commemorate Warminster Community Park's 10th anniversary. A new date is under consideration.
The planned celebration of Warminster Community Park's tenth anniversary will have to wait a little bit longer.
According to a posting on the Warminster Township website, the community day previously scheduled for Sept. 7 at the park has been postponed.
The message reads:
"Due to scheduling and event participant complications, the 2013 Warminster Day and Touch a Truck Event are being reconsidered and will not be held on the previously advertised September 7th date. We are developing a new event to celebrate Warminster and will publish all the details as the program develops. Thank you for your understanding and continued support."
A new date for Warminster Day has not been released. The Needlework Guild of America's 5K Walk/Run is still scheduled to take place at Warminster Community Park on Sept. 7 at 8:30 a.m. Click here to access and print the registration form.
