Warminster Offers Ways To Beat The Heat

WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — With temperatures threatening to hit the century mark this week, township officials are encouraging residents to cool off.

The National Weather Service is reporting a heat wave in the Philadelphia region over the next few days.

Township officials said there are three places to brave the heat:

Officials are asking residents to stay cool and remain hydrated, limit their time outside, and take plenty of breaks.

Pets should be kept indoors and off the pavement. Also, it's always good to check on the well-being of neighbors.

Officials stress that no one should be left unattended in a vehicle, even if your car is running, because you never know if it will shut off.

Township officials urge residents to call 911 for help if needed.
