Warminster Playgrounds Closed For Coronavirus
Township officials said that the parks themselves will remain open for the public to use.
WARMINSTER, PA — Signs were going up on Monday announcing that playgrounds at Warminster Township parks are closed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Warminster officials announced the closures on Sunday. They said township staff would be putting up signs announcing the closures on Monday.
Officials said that the parks themselves will remain open for the public to use. But the playgrounds, as well as fields and buildings, are now closed.

Amidst the shutdown aimed at curbing the spread of COVID-19, Warminster already had shut down non-essential services. All township buildings are closed, as is the Five Ponds Golf Course.

All Warminster library and parks and recreation programs scheduled through April have been canceled or postponed.
At least one case of the coronavirus has been reported in Warminster. On Sunday, seven new cases of the virus were reported in Bucks County, bringing the county's total to 41.
