Warminster 'Shelter In Place' Order Canceled

The order, for the Tall Oaks area in Warminster, came as police were responding to a "critical incident" Tuesday afternoon.

UPDATE: Warminster Police announced early Wednesday that the shelter in place for the 400 block of Tall Oaks Drive has been canceled. "The incident has been resolved safely," police said.

WARMINSTER, PA — Police in Warminster were responding to an incident Tuesday afternoon and asking residents of the neighborhood to stay in their homes.

Warminster Township Police asked all people in the Tall Oaks area to shelter in place Tuesday. Everyone else was urged to avoid the area.

Tall Oaks Drive is off of Newtown Road and south of Street Road in Warminster.
