The constable had initially come to evict several tenants of the rental unit when Stosser barricaded himself in the house using large pieces of furniture. When he refused to come out, police arrived to handle the situation.
A search warrant was issued for Strosser after police attempted to negotiate with him for several hours, which only saw him add more objects to the pile in front of his door to further barricade it. Officers began to clear the property of other tenants after Strosser made threats to set fire to the complex and that he had weapons in his apartment.

The Central Bucks County Special Response Team (CBSRT) came to the scene after threats were made to officers. After further negotiations with Strosser, officers were able to convince him to come out of his house; he laid down on the ground as officers arrested him. Strosser will be arraigned on Thursday morning.
His most recent warrant was from October and had him wanted for simple assault, unlawful restraint, strangulation, terroristic threats, and harassment.
An initial shelter in place to people in the area has been lifted, as the situation has been fully resolved by police and the fire department.
