Warminster Twp. Declares Disaster Emergency In Face Of Weather
The Township declared an emergency as Bucks County faces severe weather, following the lead of several other Townships.
WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — The Township of Warminster has announced a declaration of disaster emergency as severe winter weather makes its way toward Bucks County on Friday.
The official declaration states that the incoming winter storm threatens the safety and health of Township residents. As such, emergency measures, such as snow plowing and people having to move their vehicles off the road for emergency use, will be put into effect.
The Township lists 'Parking during snow or ice accumulation' as one of the offenses residents face during the emergency.

"It shall be unlawful to park, or allow to be parked, any motor vehicle on any road or street within the Township when a snowemergency has been declared by the Township Manager or his/her designee until rescinded," the Township wrote in their list of rules and regulations during emergencies such as this.
'Towing of vehicles' was also listed; drivers who fail to move their cars off the road during the emergency face towing.

The declaration will take effect at 7 p.m. on Friday evening and last until 7 p.m. on Saturday evening.
Warminster residents are being asked to follow all township ordinances related to snow, as the Warminster Police will be enforcing those ordinances.
