Warminster Weekend Fire Severely Damages Garage

The Warminster Fire Department, with the help of other local fire companies, extinguished a garage fire on Saturday, Nov. 27.

WARMINSTER, PA — The Warminster Fire Department, with the aid of other local fire companies, responded to and extinguished a large garage fire in the area on Saturday, Nov. 27.

The fire department and other mutual aid partners were alerted to reports of a garage fire on the 300 block of Aspen Street just before 9 p.m. The roof of the garage was almost fully engulfed by the time firefighters began work to put the fire out.

The department was aided by the Horsham Fire Company, the Hartsville Fire Company, the Willow Grove Volunteer Fire Company, and the Enterprise Fire Company of Hatboro, as well as additional aid from the Warminster Township Police Department, the Bucks County 911, and the Central Bucks Emergency Medical Services, who worked to make sure people in the area were properly evacuated and in ensuring their safety, as well as working with the several departments for proper communication.

The cause of the fire has not been made public as of yet.
