Warminster YMCA Celebrates PA Advocacy Month
The Bucks County YMCA is offering discounts and incentives for new members in August, and got a visit from the 6th district state senator.
WARMINSTER, PA — In August, the Warminster YMCA is offering family promotions to encourage enjoyment of their services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Residents can join as a family or upgrade an individual membership to pay nothing until September 1, pay no join fee, get $100 in "Y Bucks" toward any program or service, and take advantage of expanded building and Stay & Play hours. The deals also apply to the Doylestown, Newtown, and Quakertown branches.
The YMCA advertised a visit from State Senator Robert "Tommy" Tomlinson online, who visited the St. Francis Cabrini campsite on Wednesday.

"During his tour he learned about the significant need of the children we are serving in the Lower Bucks region," the YMCA wrote online. "He took the time to talk to many of our campers. Sen. Tomlinson also visited our Fairless Hills branch construction project and saw up close the incredible progress we are making!"
Tomlinson's visit celebrated YMCA Advocacy Month, the YMCA explained, as one of several visits by state and local officials scheduled over several weeks.
