WARMINSTER, PA — Police in Warminster have shared video of an officer engaged in a lengthy foot chase of a man suspected of breaking into cars in the Speedway section.

At 6:09 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to Speedway for a report of a man going through vehicles. When they got there, they saw a man matching the description. Video shows an officer speak with him and the man take off running.

What follows is a foot chase in which the officer, weighed down with 20 pounds of equipment, runs after the suspect, hurdling three fences in the process. Eventually, the man is caught and he has been charged, police said Wednesday.

They say the man also was found to have illegal drugs on him.
