When is the First Day of School?
Find out when the notable days are for the 2013-2014 school year.

It may be hard to believe, but the start of the new school year is only a month away. The Centennial School District returns to the classroom Sept. 3 for grades kindergarten through 12th. All schools are closed on Sept. 5 for Rosh Hashanah, then back again on Sept. 6.
Here's the rest of the 2013-2014 school year at a glance:
- Nov. 5: All schools closed for in-service day.
- Nov. 8: Early dismissal K-12 for afternoon in-service (AM and PM kindergarten in attendance).
- Nov. 26: Early dismissal K-5 for parent-teacher elementary conferences (AM and PM kindergarten in attendance
- Nov. 27-29: Thanksgiving break
- Dec. 23-Jan. 1, 2014: Christmas break
- Jan. 2, 2014: Classes resume
- Jan. 20, 2014: Schools closed, Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Jan. 28, 2014: Schools closed, in-service day
- Feb. 14, 2014: Elementary schools closed, conferences. Middle and high schools open
- Feb. 17, 2014: Schools closed, President's Day
- March 5, 2014: Kindergarten registration
- April 3, 2014: All schools early dismissal (AM and PM kindergarten in attendance)
- April 14-21, 2014: Spring break
- May 20, 2014: Schools closed, in-service
- May 26, 2014: Schools closed, Memorial Day
- June 13-17, 2014: William Tennent High School half days for final exams
- June 18, 2014: Tentative last day of school. Early dismissal, no PM kindergarten.
