York Road Will Close Saturday Morning For Brad Fox Day Run
A companion Veteran's Expo staged at Archbishop Wood High School will celebrate, recognize, and support the veteran community.

WARMINSTER, PA — York Road will be closed to traffic between Street and Bristol Roads on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. for the Officer Brad Fox 5K Run/1K Walk.
Brad Fox Day honors Bradley Fox, who was raised in Warminster and served two tours in Iraq. After coming home, he became a member of the Plymouth Township Police Department and was killed in the line of duty in 2012. He is survived by his widow, Lynsay, and their two children.
Runners and walkers will meet at Archbishop Wood High School, 655 York Road, at 8:30 a.m. before traveling on the road dubbed Officer Bradley M. Fox Memorial Highway at 9 a.m. Each runner and walker receives a commemorative Finisher's Prize and t-shirt.

The Veteran's Expo also includes a K-9 demonstration at 11 a.m., a closing ceremony at 1 p.m., and an all-day raffle and Kid's Korner.
"We have partnered with local and national organizations who share a common goal of assisting transitioning and established veterans in our local community across the many facets of day to day life including; housing, continued education, job placement & employment, health, fitness, legal support, travel, community service, and others," the Brad Fox Foundation wrote online. "Brad Fox made service to his country, family, and community a life principle and we work to continue that service in his name."

Brad Fox Day is open to any attendees, with a $35 fee for the run and a $30 fee for the walk. Those wishing for more information can email officerbradfox5k@gmail.com.
