Don't be alarmed by the chain link fence set up in front of the Yum Yum Bake Shop on Street Road. You can still satisfy your daily coffee/pastry fix at the Warminster bakery.
Owner Donna Conly said that the renovations are expected to take about four to six weeks, with the 50-year-old business getting a new face by November.
"We're getting a new facade, signage and a new roof installed," said Conly. "It's time for a facelift."
Yum Yum Bake Shop, 500 W. Street Road, continues its regular operating hours: Mon.-Sat. 4:30 a.m.-11 p.m.; Sun. 5:30 a.m.-11 p.m. For more information, call (215) 441-4477.
