$10K Gifted To Coatesville Parks And Rec From 23 Vintage Grand Prix

The gift will be used for youth development initiatives, activities and education.

COATESVILLE, PA —The Coatesville Invitation Grand Prix recently presented the Coatesville Parks & Recreation Commission with a $10,000 check for park-related events.

“The donation is greatly appreciated, and funds will be used to continue youth development initiatives and programming for park-related activities and education,” Arlene Livingston, chairwoman of the commission.

Councilwoman Charisse Allen noted that each year, thousands of spectators flock to Coatesville to experience the excitement of watching vintage automobiles and motorcycles navigate a challenging two-mile course that winds through the historic streets of Coatesville.

The event featured entertainment by the Joe Hillman Band, food and beverage trucks, and an exclusive up-close look at some of the vehicles entered in the Grand Prix.
