3 Dead After Police Chase In Chester County
The vehicle's driver refused to pull over and sped away when state police attempted to pull it over.

NEW GARDEN TOWNSHIP, PA — Three people are dead after a police chase in Chester County early Friday morning, according to authorities and media reports.
The incident began in New Garden Township at around 1:30 a.m. on Gap Newport Pike near Sharp Road.
6ABC reports that state troopers attempted to pull a suspect over after numerous traffic violations.

The driver refused to pull over and sped off, ultimately losing control and crashing into a tree with state police still in pursuit, Fox29 reports.
The three occupants of the vehicle were all killed.

Authorities have not yet publicly identified the victims. It's not yet clear why they refused to pull over.
Roads around the general vicinity remained closed during the Friday morning commute, including Route 41, with police activity continuing hours later.
"This activity will likely cause delays in that entire area including for our transportation service," the Kennett Consolidated School District shared. "Please be mindful that some of our buses may be delayed this morning in arriving for pick up and transporting students to our schools."
No police were injured during the chase.
