63 East Goshen Residents Without Power Monday: PECO

Temperatures are expected to rise Tuesday afternoon melting the bright, white snow coating Chester County.

EAST GOSHEN, PA — A total of 63 residents in East Goshen Township were without electricity Monday afternoon and temperatures were below freezing, according to PECO and the National Weather Services.

PECO crews are working this afternoon to restore the power to the residents.

Rain is in the forecast for the remainder of the week.

Showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms are in the forecast for Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service based in Mount Holly, N.J.

By Tuesday afternoon, the bright, white snow blanketing Chester County may turn into a slushy mess for the evening commute. The low temperature is forecasted at 34 degrees and the high is forecasted at 41 degrees.

The deep freeze is winding down as temperatures are expected to warm up on Thursday afternoon, with the high temperature forecasted near 53 degrees.
