Bam Margera Arrested In Domestic Assault In California
Margera, a former Chester County stuntman, is free on $50,000 bail awaiting trial on domestic abuse charges in California, according to TMZ.

WEST CHESTER, PA —The flamboyant former star of MTV’s ‘Jackass’ and Chester County resident, Bam Margera, was arrested for domestic violence after a woman reported to police he kicked her in San Diego County, Calif., according to People magazine and TMZ.
The 43-year-old is accused of kicking a woman in a home in Escondido, according to a statement released to People.
Margera, whose real name is Brandon Cole, was arrested Thursday on charges of corporal injury to a current or former spouse, c0habitant, dating partner, or fellow parent.

Margera was taken to the Vista Detention Facility, where he spent the night. He was released Friday to await trial after posting $50,000 bail.
Margera grew up in West Chester and owns two houses in Chester County, one in the borough and a second, known as Castle Bam, in Popcopson Township.

In February 2019, Margera said on Instagram that he was hosting a party at Castle Bam for April Fool’s day.
The party, he said, was to celebrate a newly remodeled skate park opening at that home, according to Patch.
Margera was fired from performing in 'Jackass Forever,' a slapstick movie, last year after allegedly breaking a “wellness agreement” in his contract that required him to undergo regular drug and alcohol tests and take prescribed medication, TMZ reported.
In August, Margera told the Philadelphia Inquirer that he “never felt better” after a year of substance-abuse treatment.
