Caretaker Charged With Elderly Abuse in Chester County: Police
A 44-year-old Upper Darby man is accused of abusing an elderly victim whom he was employed to watch as a caretaker in Parkesburg Borough.
CHESTER COUNTY —A 44-year-old Delaware County man was arrested on a charge of elderly abuse in connection with his job as a caretaker of an elderly victim, police said.
Joseph U. Chulwu of Upper Darby was arraigned before District Judge Nancy Gill in Parkesburg on a charge of abuse of care of an elderly person.
Parkesburg police said they confirmed a report they received a report on Oct. 17 that Chukwu physically abused a victim while he was employed as a caregiver. A preliminary hearing is pending.
