Chester County Balloon Festival Returns This Weekend

Soar over the skies of Chester County in one of the region's iconic events.

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — The Chester County Balloon Festival, one of the premier celebrations in the region, will take place this Father's Day weekend.

The 17th annual iteration of the Kennett Square event will be held from June 13 through June 15.

"The 3-day event schedule highlights of Hot Air Balloons from all over the country taking flight twice per day, balloon glow or stand up also featuring Special Shaped Balloon Rodeo, untethered and tethered balloon rides, and a walk-thru balloon," organizers said.

Live bands, over 100 vendors, balloons and glows, kids activities, and more will supplement the on-ground portion of the event.

Hours are 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, and 2 p.m to 7 p.m. on Sunday.

The event's base of operations is at 101 E Street Road in Kennett Square.
