Chester County Hospital Is Rated The Best In The Nation

WEST CHESTER, PA —Chester County Hospital was named in the top 50 in Healthgrades 2024 America’s Best Hospitals Awards.

Healthgrades, an online healthcare information company based in Denver, Colo., released its 2024 list of America’s Best Hospitals on Tuesday.

Healthgrades evaluated 4,500 hospitals across more than 30 common procedures and conditions to determine the ratings.

Chester County Hospital, 701 East Marshall St., was named in the top one percent of hospitals nationwide for providing the highest clinical quality in 2024, 2023, and 2022.

The hospital also earned awards for the best hospital for cardiac care and critical care in 2024, 2023, and 2022.

The hospital was named in the top 100 for gastrointestinal care.

The Healthgrades report also provided ratings by the patients for their experience in the hospital.

A sampling of patients gave the hospital a 9 out of 10 rating, which is 12 percent higher than the national average.

In addition, 85 percent of the patients said they would recommend Chester County Hospital to others.

One reviewer in January 2024 said: "The people that work in the office were exceptional along with the doctor.

Another reviewer wrote: "Very professional, thoughtful, and excellent listener regarding explanations of conditions."
