Financial Support For Education In Chesco Available

Chester County Economic Development Council offers students an opportunity to apply for financial aide for the spring semester.

CHESTER COUNTY — Chester County Economic Development Council offers students a chance to apply for financial support to complete college and technical programs for the spring semester.

The council said this is the last chance to apply because the project “RECONNECT’ is concluding at the end of the spring semester.
The program has 40 slots available for students interested in healthcare, technology, education and more, said Bethanie Emery of the council.
“Working together, we can provide the tuition students need to re-enroll, with the support services required to help them, including transportation and childcare, as well as food and housing assistance,”
Since the program launched in June 2023, 63 students enrolled, including seven who graduated. The students are enrolled in schools including Chestnut Hill College, Delaware County Community College, Harcum College, Montgomery County Community College, Peirce College, Penn State University, West Chester University and more.
Information on the programs is available here.
