Fire Broke Out Sunday In Bedroom Of West Whiteland Home: Officials

Occupants escaped from a bedroom window of the residence in the 1200 block Of Belmont Avenue.

WEST WHITELAND, PA —A house fire broke out at 12:30 p.m. Sunday in a bedroom in the 1200 block of Belmont Avenue, West Whiteland Township.

The occupants were able to escape from a window in another bedroom and pets were removed, according to firefighters.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Firefighters were on the scene for two and a half hours.

West Whiteland police and Lionville, East Brandywine, Minquas, No. 2, Goshen, First West Chester #51. Goodwill #2 of West Chester and the Good Fellowship Ambulance and EMS Training Institute assisted at the scene.
