Large Barn Fire Battled In Chester County

LOWER OXFORD, PA — Firefighters battled a large barn fire in Chester County Monday morning.

The incident began at around 6 a.m. on Nov. 17 on Forge Road in Lower Oxford Township.

Photos from the scene showed towering flames emerging from the sides and the roof of the large barn.

Union Fire Company No. 1 and Community Fire Company of Rising Sun were among the departments responding to the scene.

No injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire is not yet known and remains under investigation.
