Lincoln University Celebrates Martin Luther King Jr.’s Legacy

Tickets are available Friday for brunch followed by workshops on Monday, Jan. 15.

CHESTER COUNTY—Lincoln University students and staff invite the community to commemorate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.

The event features a brunch serving chicken and waffles and many other choices.
Dr. Robin Smith, an author and licensed psychiatrist, is the keynote speaker. Smith hosts Dr. Robin's show on SiriusXM channel126. She works with companies, sports, and entertainment professionals.

Two workshops will be offered in the afternoon.

  • Kingian Non-Violence for conflict resolution derived from the principles of the methodology of the Rev. King.
  • Intersectional Allyship for Racial Justice to explore how to be effective allies to people of color in your journey for racial equity and collective liberation.
