Man Attempts To Bite And Spit On Police In Kennett Square: Police

Erik Herrera-Bedolla, 21, is awaiting court action on charges of aggravated assault, resisting arrests and related offenses.

KENNETT SQUARE, PA —An Avondale man is accused of trying to bite and spit on Kennett Square police officers who were trying to take him to the hospital for a mental health evaluation, police said.

Erik Herrera-Bedolla, 21, is free on $7,500 bail awaiting trial on charges of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and other related offenses.

Police said Herrera- Bedolla was less than a foot away from the officers when he was trying to bite and spit on them at 9:44 p.m. on Jan. 14 in the 100 Block of N. Willow Street, Kennett Square.
