Outdoor Dining In West Chester: Places To Watch As It Warms Up
Spring weather is creeping up slowly this year, and soon we'll be enjoying outdoor dining again at some favorite West Chester eateries.

WEST CHESTER, PA — Patios and sidewalks make great dining spaces and the weather is bound to begin cooperating soon. Here are some West Chester places that offer outdoor dining.

Kildare's Irish Pub — Locals know where to go for tavern fare and drinks and cheer. Sidewalk seating may be open, so time your stop at 18 W. Gay St. and remember this is "not a bar, it's a pub." This warm and friendly public house serves those Irish favs like fish and chips, shepherd's pie and bangers and mash.

Mas Mexicali Cantina — Rooftop dining is trending and this one's been around awhile, serving up margaritas and Modelo along with great Mexican dishes. It's right downtown at 102 E. Market St. and the roof is open "weather permitting" at Mas Mexicali Cantina.
Marshalton Inn — When you're looking for a special outdoor dining experience in a historic setting, you might want to head west of West Chester a few miles to the Marshalton Inn. At 1300 W. Strasburg Road, (Rt. 162) you'll find top-rated everything at this American restaurant. Chef David Cox owns the Marshalton Inn and the Four Dogs Tavern at the same address.

Bar Avalon — Bar AV West Chester at 116 E. Gay St. is a perfect stop if you like sidewalk dining and highly rated food, and a place that's almost always doing something in the community. Bar AV is in West Chester and Bryn Mawr, and as weather permits, it's a perfect place for meal in the fresh air.
Iron Hill Brewery — It's a local favorite that's in West Chester and 20 other locations, and for a reason. Iron Hill Brewery brings its in-house brews to appreciative beer drinkers and a pleasing menu to diners from here to Atlanta. Enjoy it all in busy downtown West Chester.
