PennDOT Crews Repair Damage From Hurricane Ida In Chesco and Montco
The work is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 27 on several highways in Chester and Montgomery counties.

CHESTER COUNTY—PennDOT announced Friday that construction will take place on several state highways next week on Monday, Jan. 23, through Friday, Jan.27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, in Chester and Montgomery counties for embankment repair and guide rail installation under a project to repair state highways that sustained damage from the remnants of Hurricane Ida in September 2021.
Motorists are advised of a single-lane closure with flagging at the following locations:
- Route 82 (Manor Road) between Route 340 (Kings Highway) and Dogwood Dell Drive in West Brandywine Township, Chester County;
- Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) between Old Lincoln Highway and Main Street in Valley Township, Chester County;
- Route 926 (Street Road) between Pocopson Road and Route 926 (West Street Road) in Pocopson and Birmingham townships, Chester County
- Route 113 (Bridge Road) between Route 29 (Gravel Pike) and Creek Road in Perkiomen and Skippack townships, Montgomery County.
Motorists should allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
