PennDOT Road Work Baltimore Pike
Baltimore Pike in Delaware and Chester counties weekdays from 9:a.m. to 3 p.m. for roadwork.
WEST CHESTER — Motorists traveling in both directions on Route 1 (Baltimore Pike) will encounter lane closures Monday through Friday between Route 52 (Kennett Pike) and the Delaware County line in Kennett and Pennsbury townships, Chester County.
The lane closures will occur from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. weekdays as part of a $10.8 million PennDOT milling and paving project to make Pennsylvania roads safe.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PennDOT crews are milling the existing roadway surface and repaving the state highway with new asphalt.
Allan Myers, LP of Worcester, Montgomery County, is the general contractor.
