Shane Montgomery's Death Ruled Accidental
Services for the 21-year-old Roxborough man will be held later this week.

Shane Montgomery’s death has been ruled accidental but the specific cause of death has not yet been released, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.
The body of the 21-year-old Roxborough man who had been missing since Thanksgiving was found Saturday in the Schuylkill River in Manayunk.

His funeral services have been scheduled for later this week.
Montgomery disappeared in the early morning hours on Nov. 27 after meeting friends at Kildare’s Pub on Thanksgiving Eve. The Garden State Underwater Recovery Unit found Montgomery’s body in the water behind the Manayunk Brew Pub near Shurs Lane and Main Street.

“Today we have done what we promised. We found and brought Shane home,” Montgomery’s family said Saturday on the Help find Shane Montgomery Facebook page.
Montgomery was a West Chester University student.
A viewing will be held Thursday and Friday at St. John the Baptist Church. A funeral mass will be held Friday.
