Nickelodeon's The SpongeBob Musical is on stage at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, and Friday, Aug. 4, at Uptown!, 226 N. High St.
The new musical features magical music. It is based on the Nickelodeon animated television show.

In the show, citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano is going to erupt and destroy their home. SpongeBob and his friends come together to save their undersea world.
The show is for children of ages five and up. It runs for two hours and 10 minutes.
