West Chester Area School District Is Closed Friday
School officials said all schools are closed due to the current road conditions and the weather forecast for tomorrow.
WEST CHESTER, PA —West Chester Area School District is closed Friday, Jan. 19, due to the weather forecast of four to six inches of snow, beginning early Friday morning.
A Child's Place will also be closed.
There will be no district transportation available.

The snow is expected to be heavy at times, stopping at around 10 p.m. Friday.
Temperatures are expected to drop rapidly, and untreated roads will become icy.
Motorists are reminded to keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in their vehicles in the event of an emergency.
The high temperature on Friday is forecasted at 30 degrees and the low is 14 degrees.

Saturday morning is expected to be partly sunny with blustery winds at 15 to 20 mph.
