WEST CHESTER — The borough's annual community family-friendly cleanup to cap off Earth Week is scheduled Saturday and Sunday.
Friday is the deadline to register as an individual or team to receive a kit delivered to the address provided on the registration form.
Volunteers can claim their neighborhood or favorite local park to cleanup on the registration form.

There is no structured time, rather participants can choose whenever works best.
When completed, trash bags can be dropped off at a designated drop off area in one of the borough’s parks for pickup by public works employees.

Participants are invited to take post photographs of cleanup crews and post them to social media using the hashtag #cleanandgreenWC.
The cleanup provides opportunities for scouts, students, and community groups to work together.
In 2021, more than 150 volunteers cleaned up 196 blocks in the borough and all 12 borough parks.
