WEST CHESTER —A 51-year-old West Chester man is charged with holding a fake gun and yelling “boom” to a police officer before fleeing on March 1, according to police.

Stephen Clark is free on $5,000 bail after being arraigned before District Judge Marian T. Vito Thursday night on charges of making terrorist threats, fleeing police and driving with a suspended license.
According to West Chester police:
Clark pulled in front of a police vehicle and held a simulated gun at a police officer, yelling “boom!”
The officer attempted to stop Clark’s vehicle, but he fled off.

A check of the vehicle's license showed that Clark was driving with a suspended license. A preliminary hearing is scheduled next month.
