West Chester Drunk Driver Crashed Into Vehicles: April Police Log

West Chester police arrested several individuals on drunken driving and assault charges.

WEST CHESTER, PA — Police made numerous arrests around West Chester in early April, including charges for drunken driving, assault, robbery, and more. Here's a summary of recent events:

  • A 25-year-old from Havertown was arrested on April 4 on charges of drunken driving and accidents involving property damage. Police said Ward was driving the wrong way on West Washington and North Darlington streets, striking several unoccupied vehicles.
  • A 41-year-old from West Chester, is free on $10,000 bail after being arrested on April 6 on robbery and related charges. Police said he broke into a house in the 200 block of North Darlington and stole some unidentified items.
  • A 36-year-old from West Chester is free on $5,000 bail after being arrested April 7 on charges of simple assault and harassment in connection with a domestic dispute in the 400 block of West Lafayette Street.
  • A 20-year-old from Havertown, Delaware County, remains free to await a preliminary hearing on charges of simple assault and harassment. Police said Jolly assaulted a roommate on Feb.11 in the 700 block of South Walnut Street.
  • A 26-year-old from West Chester, was charged with drunken driving and related traffic violations. Police said Arpan was driving erratically on April 1 in the 1000 block Downingtown Pike.
  • A 24-year-old from West Chester was charged with drunken driving after police spotted her driving erratically on April 9 in the 1000 block of Downingtown Pike.
