WEST WHITELAND, PA — West Whiteland Township Police Chief Lee Benson was recently elected as the chairman of the Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission.
The accreditation was created in 2001 to provide a standard to professionalize law enforcement agencies in Pennsylvania.
Benson has over 20 years of experience in police department accreditation as a manager, assessor, and commission member.
