West Whiteland Police Report A Series Of Thefts In January

Thieves stole packages, credit cards, a vehicles from businesses and residents in Whiteland Township, acccording to police reports.

WEST WHITELAND —West Whiteland Township police reported retail thefts, package thefts, credit card fraud, and related charges in January.

  • CREDIT CARD THEFT: A suspect made over $14,000 in purchases with a stolen credit card at Target, Best Buy, Lowes, and Home Depot in Pennsylvania and New Jersey police reported on Jan. 9.
  • THEFT OF SERVICES: Luis Martin Reyes, 28, address unavailable is wanted for failing to appear in court on a contractor fraud case.
  • THEFT: Joshua A. Sole, 23, of West Chester, is free on $10,000 bail awaiting a preliminary hearing on theft charges and receiving stolen property in West Whiteland.
  • THEFT OF PACKAGE: A female stole a package on Jan. 9 at J Creekside, at 360 Creamery Way at Exton.
  • CAR THEFT: Adrian Vergar, 29, of West Chester is free on $5,000 bail awaiting a preliminary hearing on charges of vehicle theft and giving false identification to police.
  • CREDIT CARD THEFT: Suspects stole a credit card from a female’s purse in December at Appetites on Main and used the credit card to purchase $600 from a Wawa and fled in a white SUV.
