Young West Chester Actress Performs in "The Little Mermaid"

Charlotte Ward Tayor is diving ‘Under the Sea’ on the Walnut Mainstage this holiday season as part of the ensemble of Disney’s The Little Mermaid playing now through January 2, 2022.

Based on the beloved Hans Christian Andersen story and the classic film, Disney’s The Little Mermaid is the hauntingly beautiful story of Ariel, who dreams of finding her own way in the world above the sea. Featuring unforgettable songs such as "Under the Sea," "Kiss the Girl" and "Part of Your World," Disney’s The Little Mermaid promises to be one of the most spectacular productions ever staged at the Walnut!

Charlotte is a student at both the Center for Performing Arts and the University Scholars Program in West Chester. The Little Mermaid marks a return to the Walnut for the young actress, who also appeared in 2018’s Matilda The Musical.

She studies voice and piano and participates in the Young People’s Theatre Workshop in Swarthmore, PA.
