12-Hour Closure Of Woodside Road Wednesday

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —A portion of Woodside Road between Taylorsville Road and River Road/PA Route 32 is scheduled to be closed to through traffic from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday.

Access to the Park and Ride lot and the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission’s administration building on Woodside Road will be maintained via Taylorsville Road during the road closure period.

Motorists seeking to travel between Taylorsville Road and Route 32/River Road during the closure period are advised to use either East Afton Avenue in Yardley to the south or Mt. Eyre Road at the Lower Makefield-Upper Makefield boundary to the north.

The upcoming travel restriction will allow for the installation of an improved turning surface at Woodside Road’s intersection with PA Route 32/River Road. The work will be performed by a Bridge Commission contractor.
