$1M Powerball Lottery Ticket Sold In Lower Bucks

The winning ticket was drawn Wednesday, PA Lottery officials said. Find out where it was sold below.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —A Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold in Bucks County this week, the Pennsylvania Lottery has announced.

A Bucks County retailer sold the ticket for the Wednesday drawing, lottery officials said.

The ticket matched five of the five white balls drawn, 2-15-27-29-39, but not the red Powerball® 20, to win $1 million, less applicable withholding.

Cigarette Outlet, 2 South Delmorr Avenue, Morrisville, will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.

Winning tickets purchased at a Lottery retailer should immediately be signed on the back. Online winnings automatically appear in a player’s account after the claim has been processed. Players may visit palottery.com for more information about how to file a claim.

More than 41,100 other PA Lottery Powerball® tickets won prizes of various amounts in Wednesday’s drawing, including more than 7,700 tickets purchased with Power Play and more than 3,900 tickets purchased with Double Play.

Players should check every ticket, every time.

A jackpot-winning Powerball ticket for the October 23 drawing was sold in Georgia.

The jackpot-winning ticket is worth an estimated annuity value of $478.2 million, or $230.6 million cash. The jackpot has been rolling since August 19 when the last jackpot worth $44.3 million was won in California.

The Powerball jackpot reset to an estimated value of $20 million, or $9.6 million cash, for the next drawing on Saturday.
