2nd Bucks Co. Wegmans Gets Set For Grand Opening
Several part-time positions are still available at the supermarket, which will open in Lower Makefield Township on March 20.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —It's another busy day inside the new Bucks County Wegmans.
With opening day two weeks away, workers are scurrying about the 88,000-square-foot supermarket at Prickett Preserve, stocking shelves, hanging signs, training, and testing equipment.
"Everything at the store is moving along as planned toward opening day," Marcie Rivera, who is coordinating public relations for the store, told Patch.

There are still some job openings as well at the store, which will be the second in Bucks County. Another Wegmans is located off Route 611 in Warrington.
Rivera said that several part-time positions are available, specifically roles in bakery, prepared foods, and deli. Interested applicants can click here to fill out an application.

The store will employ 415 people, 155 of which will be full-time workers and 260 part-timers.
Patch was the first media in the Philadelphia region to get a sneak peek at a tour of the new building in November.
While Bucks County boasts a Wegmans in Warrington Township, this second store will serve as a retail crown jewel for Lower Bucks County, one of 17 Wegmans in the Pennsylvania/Delaware region and among 110 stores overall, company officials said.
The Wegmans is the centerpiece of the Prickett Preserve development, which includes nine multi-family buildings containing 200 apartment units plus a clubhouse with a pool, and seven commercial buildings totaling 52,000 square feet.
Wegmans has also been contributing to the Lower Bucks community, having donated more than $32,000.
