9/11 Remembrance Ceremony By Pennsbury High JROTC

FALLSINGTON, PA —Pennsbury High School honored the victims of the Sept. 11 attacks with a remembrance ceremony last Thursday.

Cadets from the PHS Air Force JROTC stood at attention as fellow cadets raised the American flag in front of Pennsbury High School East.

Several senior cadets reflected during the ceremony about the fateful day 21 years ago.

The ceremony also included guest speaker Don Bentivoglio, a 1965 high school graduate and Vietnam War veteran.

Bentivoglio, who serves on the Pennsbury Wall of Honor Foundation Advisory Board, worked in the World Financial Center across from the Twin Towers on Sept. 11. He spoke about that day's events and acts of bravery he witnessed.

The school district, in the Facebook post, thanked Bentivolgio, the Pennsbury High School AFJROTC, and school administration, for marking the anniversary.
