Satterthwaite House Theft, Marijuana Found In Traffic Stop: Lower Makefield Crimes

The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents over the past week.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — Marijuana was found during a traffic stop. Meanwhile, the Satterthwaite House was listed among the criminal incidents the Lower Makefield Township Police Department released in its blotter over the past week.

DRUG ARREST — Yardley Road and School Lane, reported at 8:09 a.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. A records check revealed the driver had a suspended license, no insurance, and had fraudulent inspection stickers and a fraudulent temporary registration. Further investigation led to the discovery of 14 grams of marijuana. The 29-year-old male driver from Philadelphia was taken into police custody.

THEFT — 900 block of Mirror Lake Road at AOY Art Center, reported at 1:35 p.m. The complainant reported than an unknown person(s) removed the copper downspouts from the Satterthwaite House.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT — Yardley Road and Ferry Road, reported at 8:13 p.m. Police responded to the report of a disorderly woman screaming obscenities. Further investigation led to the 68-year-old Morrisville woman being cited for disorderly conduct for an open alcoholic container and yelling at others.

Oct. 26

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF — 500 block of Stony Hill Road, reported at 11:02 a.m. The complainant reported that sometime between Friday and Saturday, an unknown person(s) damaged their mailbox with a rock.

Oct. 25

DRUG ARREST — 500 block of West Trenton Avenue, reported at 12:38 a.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 32-year-old male driver from Trenton, N.J. for possession of marijuana, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia. He was taken into police custody.

FRAUD:

  • 300 block of Rowantree Court, reported at 11:49 a.m. The complainant reported receiving mail from Privacy Patrol, stating they had $250 in unclaimed money. After providing their banking information, they realized it was a scam.
  • 400 block of Sweetbriar Court, reported at 5:03 p.m. The complainant reported that an unknown person(s) hacked their Facebook account three times in two weeks and has been trying to sell fake items to their friends and family.

Oct. 24

CREDIT CARD FRAUD — 1400 block of Heather Ridge Drive, reported at 11:53 a.m. The complainant reported an unauthorized use of their credit card for $30,000.
