LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Lower Makefield Township Police Department reported several crimes that occurred in the area between Saturday and Wednesday.

Saturday

- Police stopped a vehicle at Big Oak Road & Oxford Valley Road for violations. Police discovered that the driver, a 27-year-old Langhorne man, was in possession of a firearm with a revoked permit, as well as a warrant out of Bucks County. He was taken into police custody.
Sunday
- A theft from a vehicle was reported from the 1300 block of Pepperbush Court at 10:26 a.m. The complainant reported the theft of the license plate from their vehicle.

- A report of fraud was made from the 1500 block of Silo Road at 11:30 a.m. The complainant reported calling an 800 number for what they thought was Microsoft IT Support and was instructed to put $15,000 in an electronic Bitcoin machine. The victim sent $1,000 before realizing it was a scam.
Wednesday
- A theft was reported from the 900 block of Stony Hill Road at 2:55 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of copper from the building.
- A case of retail theft was reported from the 1600 block of Big Oak Road at the local Shop Rite. The store's Loss Prevention reported an unknown man taking $115.55 worth of merchandise without paying.
